African Richest Blogger In Trouble For Tax Evasion. Faces Million Shilling Fine

Back in 2015, Africa’s most successful individual blogger Linda Ikeji came out announcing a new home she had bought in the exclusive Banana Island.

Back then this is what she posted online flossing photos of her new abode;

“I bought a two-storey luxury house in the exclusive Banana Island area of Ikoyi…and to be honest, I still can’t believe it. It’s everything I prayed my house would be. That’s me standing in front of my house. #ProudSelfMadeWoman.”

She earned praise admirers as well as created a crowd of haters…. The latter are now having a field day laughing at what is definitely a rough patch in the career of the celebrated and trend setting blogger. The Nigeria Revenue authority, the Federal Inland Revenue Service has come after her on Tax evasion grounds.

Apparently the lady blogger has been evading taxes and she has now been slapped with a N75million tax fine which roughly equates to 26 million shillings. The FRIS was even targeting her N500 million mansion but then she denied ownership only for it to emerge that she was a tenant at the huge mansion shown in the photo below.
