Opponents of Yanga, Medeama from Ghana to pull out of CAF fixture

Medeama SC is likely to withdraw from the CAF Confederartion Competition due to lack of funding according to club administrative manager Bejamin Kessie.
The Ghana FA Cup Champions are scheduled to face Caf Champions League winners and Congolese giants TP Mazembe in Group A, together with MO Bejaia of Algeria and Young Africans of Tanzania.
However, CAF is yet to disburse the supposed qualification fund to the Club. All attempts to solicit for funds to embark on the trip to Congo to play TPMazembe has yielded no results.
“The Club is financially overstretched and needs assistance badly. We are therefore contemplating a pull out from the competition if we receive no assistance,” club official statement says.
